Jimmy Eat World icon since they have a new album out today, which I hope Wal-Mart out here actually will carry. >.>
In other obvious news, wrestling with money problems really sucks. Things sort of came to a head last night when I sat down with everything in front of me, checked balances online and whatnot, and realized just how bad things have gotten. Not irrevocably bad; I have a Plan and will be ok, I know, nothing's falling apart here or anything, it's just starting to get out of hand and now's the time to set things right. A big cause of it, for which there's nothing for it now, was losing my assistant at the end of July and August basically being a dead month for billings. It's like it never existed, it's pretty sad, but again, nothing for it now. I'm just billing everything that moves at this point and that'll help, plus these last few months of the year - with everyone wanting to get things moving / done by the end of the calendar year - are usually great for business, if overly busy / taxing in general.
So it'll be ok, I suppose I just got a big wake up call. Which, hey, sometimes you need, me specifically. When you have a bunch of Blu-Rays you haven't even opened, for example, and see an ad for what was a mediochre movie at best coming out today (Get Him To The Greek, btw, which has the faintest, scarcest ties to Kristen Bell / Forgetting Sarah Marshall) and your reaction is "omg WANT" then yeah, there's a problem, haha. Which is something I'm working on fixing, starting with not letting myself pick that up today (or ever, maybe XD).
